Greetings and farewell to all my Japanese fans. Right now I’m at the airport in Nagoya and it is making me feel blue to board my plane to go back to Canada. I will miss you all and your unique and beautiful culture.
This was a remarkable tour with such memorable shows. We played at the Blue Note in both Tokyo and Nagoya, and also at The Cotton Club in Tokyo. I really enjoyed the different atmospheres. The band really enjoyed it too.
We also were very happy to have Taichiro Kawasaki on trumpet and Naofumi Takimoto on trombone join us us for all of our Tokyo shows. They were loved by the audience as well as us.
